What is end of life care?
End-of-life care refers to care provided in the time leading up to a person’s death. End-of-life care can be provided in the hours, days, or months before a person dies and caters for a person emotional and mental need.
This service includes:
- Support with bathing, toileting, dressing and undressing.
- Daily Companionship
- Overnight Care
- Household chores including laundry and general cleaning tasks.
- Activities that they would usually complete on a day-to-day basis
